Deborah Lencioni Lapp, President
Deborah Lap and her husband Greg live on the Kings River near Choinumni Park and host several functions annually at the Lapp River House. As a property owner on the river, she understands the balance between public access and private security. Deb is passionate about river preservation, recreation, safety and education and sharing her passions with the community. She teaches English atReedley College."
John Gray, Vice-President
John Gray, DVM, is a retired Grand Canyon river guide who lives on the Kings River with his wife and teenage children. He owns Reedley Veterinary Hospital, enjoys water sports and snow skiing, and backpacks frequently in the Sierra Nevada. He is also involved with the Fresno Zoo Authority and the Central California Veterinary Medical Association.
Patty Parks, Secretary
Patty Parks has served on the California State Hospital Volunteer Committee, was an operating room nurse for a decade, and recently joined the La Comida Guild of of Children's Hospital, Fresno. Patty is active in community affairs, enjoys reading, entertaining and traveling, and is coordinator for the popular Advanced Trauma Life Support course.
Nancy Jones, Treasurer
Nancy Jones is a retired School Nurse Administrator for Fresno County, Migrant Education. She has been active in community and professional organizations for more tha 40 years in various capacities. Her activities reflect an interest in making the world a better place by offering her talents to provide children with the tools needed to become fully functioning adults and future leaders. She has enjoyed hiking and pack trips in the Sierra Nevada since she came to Fresno in the 60's and is a recent committed fly fisherman. Nancy's other interests include bridge, tennis, travel, and family.
George Heaton is a life-long resident of the area and has been with the Horticultural Department at Reedley College for more than 30 years. George is particularly interested in working on projects that enable additional access to the river and further educate the community regarding the river's potential.
Lynette Ballis and her husband John have lived in the Sanger area for the last 25 years and have always enjoyed the Kings River. They have two sons. They have been beekeepers for 38 years and their garden is filled with bee friendly plants. Lynette has been doing public education on the plight of pollinators for the past few years. She recently retired from a career with the USPS, and has been winning awards for her oil paintings of bees, flowers and people.
Hiedi Isner, AdvisorHeidinAnn Isner i the Environmental Program Manager for the Kings River Conservation District. She earned her A.S. Degree in Forestry from Reedley College andherB.S. Degree in Natural Resources from Oregon State University. Her experience includes wildlife and fisheries study/management water quality and natural resources interpretation. "Hank" Urbach, a lifelong fisher and hunter, enjoyed a 35-year career in the computer industry and became involved in preserving the Kings River fishery in 1985. He had a hand in developing the Kings River Fisheries Management Program and today chairs its Public Advisory Group. He is past president of Fly Fishers for Conservation and serves as a representative for the Fisheries Program to the Upper Kings Basin Water Forum.

Jeromy is the park manager for Pine Flat Lake with the U.S. Army Corp. He was born and raised in Oklahoma and has a B.S. Degree in Wildlife Conservation from Southeast Oklahoma State University. He and his wife, Sandy, have two sons. Jeromy's hobbies include hunting, fishing, camping, and wilderness pack trips with horses.
Jim is a long-time river runner and environmental advocate. Jim and his wife Debbie produce award winning wines and host guests at their winery/vineyard bed and breakfast. Jim has a B.S. Degreee in Biology from Cal State Fullerton.
In addition to serving in the military, Richard worked at Hanford High for 32 years in vocational agriculture in the field of ornamental horticulture, forestry and FFA leadership. He enjoys camping, hiking, exploring remote wilderness areas, is skilled in woodworking and lends a hand for various community service projects.
After his military sevice, Carl taught at Reedley High School then decided to pursue his dream of creating a farming, packing and shipping company, Sunny Cal Farms. He is married to Linda and they have three grown children and five grandsons. He enjoyed many years of back packing in the Sierras and river rafting and also enjoys traveling and community service.

Mindy McClurg, the Conservancy's Executive Director, graduated from Humboldt State University with a bachelor's degree in wildlife and a minor innaturalresources..
Kristi Winter, Public Outreach Director
Kristi graduated from Fresno State with a degree in Mass Communication and Journalism and has been coordinating events for more than 10 years. Kristi and her husband Brandon enjoy traveling, reading, riding bikesandgwatching baseball.l
